Does that say Level 26 raid? What kind of hell is unleashed in that one?

From what I'm guessing, they focused their raids to be lvl 26, 6 man fire teams, and really difficult. In order to advance in the raid you pretty much need to have some nice gear and a great squad who is willing to spend quite a bit of time in the raid zone! I for one can't wait to actually hit one of these zones with some MPeeps! I can almost guarantee if we don't do well we will still have fun dying numerous times!!

I think you have 1 week to complete a raid. You can play for a couple of hours and pick it up the next day from your last check point. This is my understanding of the game mode. I'm not sure it's accurate.

Once the vault opens on the 16th will it always be available? I'd have to stop sleeping entirely and tell my family to go away to reach level 26 by the 16th.

That sounds like a pretty cool way to give folks enough time to get through a raid.
And 6 people in a fire team is sure to be a good time. You can balance each other out with each class and sub class

Can't wait! Stains will need to practice his reviving mojo if I'm part of the fireteam.

Did any of you level 20 or higher folks find the visiting trader at the tower? I ran across him but all his stuff was 20+, for sale in exchange for motes of light and odd coins, or strange coins, or whatever it was we got in beta that had no use at the time. He was tucked against a wall by the crucible trader. Not sure how long he'll be there

Vault of Glass is a 6 player fire team, level 26 only. (not sure if it is, but it says 26) You guys got 2 days to grind up there.

Bungie Reveals Next Two Destiny Public Events

Bungie has revealed new updates and challenges it will bring to Destiny (http://www.gamespot.com/destiny/) in the days and weeks ahead.
First is a weekend-long Crucible playlist, called Combined Arms, which runs from Friday September 19 to Sunday 21. Players can form Fireteams of six for this vehicle-focused Crucible mode, which also features "more regular" heavy ammo drops. Rewards include Crucible gear, marks, and reputation.
Then, from September 23 to October 6, a spate of custom bounties will emerge. The Queen's Wrath will task players to take out "enemies of the Reef" across a number of bounty tasks. Bungie adds that The Queen's Wrath includes "mission modes" that will be rewarded with Unique Legendary Gear and Unique Rare Gear.
Bungie also outlined two more additions set to go live in the near future, though the studio didn't go into detail. It says that the Salvage playlist is also due before the end of September, which comes with the somewhat ambiguous description: "Dead Orbit covets rare artefacts."
Then in October, a new Crucible playlist called Iron Banner will go live.
Writing on the official Bungie website (http://www.bungie.net/7_Destiny-Events-Starting-0919/en/News/News?aid=12153), the studio says "there should always be something new to experience every time you play Destiny."
It added: "To give you new reasons to bring the fight to our enemies--and to each other--we've loaded our cannons with some more special events. Some of them will recur regularly. Others will happen when you least expect them."
These new additions come days after Bungie unlocked its first Raid mode (http://www.gamespot.com/articles/guardians-victorious-in-destinys-first-raid/1100-6422339/), called Vault of Glass, which the studio says was the most challenging mission it has ever created (http://www.gamespot.com/articles/guardians-victorious-in-destinys-first-raid/1100-6422339/).
