Exactly.

No mention of a date yet. MS says it will be playable at E3. Most likely released this fall.

IGN (http://ca.ign.com/articles/2015/06/06/forza-motorsport-6-screenshots-leak?%20hub%20page%20(front%20page)&utm_content=13)

A trio of Forza Motorsport 6 (http://www.ign.com/games/forza-motorsport-6/xbox-one-20029964) screenshots have surfaced online, showcasing the game's weather effects and nighttime driving.
The images were posted on Japan's official Xbox website (http://www.xbox.com/ja-JP/games/forza-6/6_15/9d32baa8-7b67-4f7e-be5b-79cc868573bc), which touts the game's "breathtaking graphics" and expansive collection of over 450 cars. Here's the first screenshot, which provides a look at the racer's rain effects.

Next up, we have a shot of some late night driving.

http://oyster.ignimgs.com/wordpress/stg.ign.com/2015/06/forza61.jpg

And finally, a stunning shot of a pack of cars speeding through a city-bound track.

According to the site, Turn 10 Studio's new racer will feature 2-player split-screen support, as well as 24-player races and the return of Drivatars. The game will also reportedly span 26 world-famous locations.
Forza Motorsport 6 was announced alongside Ford's new GT supercar (http://www.ign.com/articles/2015/01/13/forza-motorsport-6-announced-for-xbox-one) back in January, and is set for release on Xbox One this holiday season (http://www.ign.com/articles/2015/02/23/forza-6-gets-holiday-2015-release-window).

Duel Shockers (http://www.dualshockers.com/2015/06/06/forza-motorsport-6s-feature-and-images-revealed-by-xbox-japan/)

Xbox One Exclusive Forza Motorsport 6’s Features and Images Revealed: 450+ Cars, Weather and Night Racing (UPDATE)

Xbox Japan (http://www.xbox.com/ja-JP/games/forza-6/6_15/9d32baa8-7b67-4f7e-be5b-79cc868573bc) just opened a new page for the upcoming Xbox One exclusive Forza Motorsport 6, revealing some interesting details about the game, and a few images.

Unrelenting action at simulation speed. Race over 450 cars in the most beautiful and comprehensive racing game of this generation.
As real as it gets
Breathtaking graphics at 1080px resolution and 50 60 frames per second. Wet weather, 3D puddles, and night racing test your driving skills. Cutting-edge ForzaTech™ engine powers the unrelenting action and stat-of-the-art-physics at simulation speed.
Ultimate car fantasy
The most cars of any racing game this generation. More than 450 cars all immaculately recreated and customizable, and complete with working cockpits and full damage. Tour 26 world-famous locales including Daytone, Rio, and more..
Never race alone
Home of the greatest racing, tuning and painting community in gaming. 2-player split-screen racing, 24-player races, and realistic Drivatar opponents deliver packed tracks and unrivaled action.

Looking at the watermarked images and at the wonky pagination of the website (not to mention the fact that it’s in English), it seems to be content leaked before it was intended to be released. The “50 frames per second” part is also probably a typo (there’s a typo in “1080p” as well).
Update: Microsoft clarified (http://www.icxm.net/x/Forza-Motorsport-6-Features.html) that it’s indeed a typo, and the game will run at 1080p, 60 FPS, with more information coming at E3.
Further evidence that the site wasn’t intended for public consumption yet is the fact that its source code includes notes like: “Hero image – reminder that the mobile version will need to be replaced as well.”
We don’t know if the images are renders or actual screenshots, but they really do look fantastic. You can check them out above and below.
Update 2: the original page is gone. Obviously someone at Microsoft found out and hurriedly removed the leak. Luckily you can still find all the content here.

Controller only here. Haven't heard any MPeeps mention a wheel.

The only thing that excites me about sim racers anymore are more cars. No matter how good it looks I dont get excited about them anymore. If this game features a completely revamped career mode then I'll probably get a wheel/pedals for it. Then I could probably enjoy sim racers more.

Even though we are still over two months away from Forza 6 hitting
retail shelves and digital distribution, the good folks over at Turn 10 did all Forza fans a huge favor with a very expansive and detailed showcase during E3. If you don't have the time to check out the video (http://www.operationsports.com/news/845283/forza-motorsport-6-release-date-september-15-trailer-cars-tracks-more-revealed/) of all the new features and improvements, don't worry, we have you covered.

Loyalty Program - Depending on what previous Forza games you have played, each individual could have up to 25 million in credits waiting for them when they fire up Forza 6 for the first time.
Ford GT - The all new Ford GT is included in the game, and will grace the cover of Forza 6 at launch.
Locations - Forza 6 will feature 26 different locations, including 10 newly captured ones.
All Forza 5 locations will make a return in the newest version of Take 10's racing spectacle.
US Circuits - For those NASCAR fans wondering what Sprint Cup tracks will be available, we can confirm right now that Daytona, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and Watkins Glen will be there at launch.
Vehicles - Forza 6 will feature over 450 cars at launch, and all will have full cockpit view, real-life physics, and realistic damage
Multiplayer - Forza 6 will feature 24-vehicle multiplayer, and also will allow two-player split screen.
Detailed vehicles and environments - The developers have promised that Forza 6 will run at 60fps with 1080p resolution. The game will feature multiple living environments that are immersive and richly detailed, including weather effects.
Career Mode - The career mode will be more than 70 hours, and will no longer have cups to win. It will be story driven, with the all new "Stories of Motorsport."
League Racing - Forza 6 will feature a brand new Forza Race League mode that will allow non-participants to spectate the race. Race League will also feature full pit stops, including car tuning, damage repair and refueling. No word if it's an interactive pit stop at this time, but we will update as soon as we know.
Drivatars - Drivatars are back, and according to the developers, they are refined and better than ever. Real-world information from both Forza Horizon 2 and Forza 5 has also been implemented to help create the most realistic AI driver to date.

As you can see there is an awful lot to be excited about when Forza 6 drops on September 15. The developers have seemingly listened to the feedback that fans of the series have provided, and tried to implement as much as they can during a single development cycle. There will be more information released in the upcoming weeks, and more than 300 cars have yet to be revealed. It's an exciting time to be a console racing fan, and it looks like Forza 6 will add immensely to that excitement.

Such a class advert. I love it.

This is a huge temptation for me to squirrel away some £s and sell my Wii U/ games.
Sadly there are zero titles coming out that make me want to keep it,
and as great as my PS4 is, the racing games still don't cut it for me.

Just finished the demo. Pretty amazing. The weather effects were insane and you could actually notice the hydroplane effect when going through very wet areas.

I'll be getting this one for sure at some point.

Does XB1 have a decent quality racing wheel peripheral? I miss my days years ago of being in a NASCAR racing league on PC but I hate trying to drive with a regular console controller.

If you're a NASCAR fan (I'm not) this is really cool. There is now a NASCAR expansion for Forza 6.

THE NASCAR expansion brings the thrills of stock car racing to the world stage. Featuring 24 new cars from the 2016 season, an all-new career mode, updated gameplay mechanics, and a new destination, the NASCAR expansion lets you experience the power of NASCAR as only Forza Motorsports 6 can deliver.
