Could it really be NFS: Underground 3?!?!?!

Need for Speed got its first real teaser image today, depicting a green car with the word "Speedhunters" written on one of its wheels and the caption, "Are you ready for the next chapter?"
Check it out below or on Need for Speed's official Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/needforspeed.na/photos/a.343506820297.351946.212717370297/10155597683075298/) page.

Speedhunters is a community of car enthusiasts owned by EA.
Last year, Ghost Games studio head Marcus Nilsson said EA is committing to a"dramatically different" approach to the Need for Speed series (http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/05/06/need-for-speed-2015-will-be-adramatically-differenta). Part of that means engaging in "more open conversations" with fans.
How much that has to do with the Speedhunters community, or if the community is even involved at all, hasn't been confirmed. At this point, several fans are speculating that this is Need for Speed Underground 3.

In any case, we'll know more when the full Need for Speed reveal (http://www.ign.com/articles/2015/05/18/need-for-speed-2015-first-look-coming-may-21) hits tomorrow, Thursday, May 21. Stay tuned.

After being teased (http://uk.ign.com/articles/2015/05/20/need-for-speed-teaser-image-revealed-more-coming-tomorrow) throughout the week, the new Need for Speed has been officially unveiled, and it's called, quite simply, Need for Speed.
The latest instalment in EA's long-running racing series is being pitched as a "full reboot", hence the stripped back title. EA promises Need for Speed will draw on what it considers the core pillars of the series: "deep customisation, authentic urban car culture, a nocturnal open world, and an immersive narrative that pulls you through the game."

Need for Speed is being developed by Ghost Games – the franchise's dedicated studio in Gothenburg, Sweden – which also produced the 2013 title Need for Speed: Rivals.
Marcus Nilsson, Executive Producer at Ghost Games, says, "Need for Speed is one of the most iconic names in gaming, and we're returning it to greatness in this reboot. Pulling on our 20 years of history and then taking a year out from releasing a game, we are making the game we've always wanted to. We're listening to the fans and delivering an experience that will capture their imagination and unleash their passion for cars and speed."
Car culture is a key focus for the reboot, with EA working closely with its own car culture community, Speedhunters (http://www.speedhunters.com/). (Speedhunters is car culture blog founded in 2008 and owned by EA.) The Need for Speed reboot will explore the "world of past, present and emergent trends of the urban car scene." This urban and underground focus can be seen in the short teaser trailer released (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ybZ5nchDm6o) today and the first screen shots above.
Need for Speed will be released worldwide in Autumn, 2015 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

i played the heck out of the beta. It definitely scratched a UG2 itch I've had for a while but it does need some work. My type R civic should not have been doing 170 MPH and able to keep up with my viper and 458. There was also some UI and graphical hicups but it was only the beta. I'm really looking forward to it.
