I was curious as to what everyone listens to on their drive in to work, Talk Radio, morning comedy and such.

These are the guys I listen to in the morning. They're called "The Regular Guys".....They can get pretty raw and have been kicked off the air 3 times in the 10 years I've lived here because they break FCC regulations. They've toned it down a little as to not get kicked off again.

I listen to a new local radio station called Dawg.FM....it is a Blues music station. [If you saw my YouTube vid of me driving home one day, you will hear Dawg FM in the background).

On the way to work I listen to The Hillman Morning show. There is a ex-Boston Bruin on it and he does the sports. Not too bad. I used to listen to Howard Stren until he went to pay radio. Then I listen to sports radio on the way home.

I ususally listen to 98.5fm, a kinda-serious talk radio...Paul Arcand's the host of this wonderfull radio show...and he's probably the best interviewer in town (Montreal, that is!) I think it starts my day nicely, and it keeps me informed on important issues, not only stupid, insignificant local news...I rarely listen to my music on the way to work....only on my way back !

I normally listen to a talk radio show called Monsters in the Morning on my way to work. Silly, stupid stuff but normally pretty funny. If they start talking about wrestling (the host is a huge fan) then I will turn on the iPod as I couldn't care less about wrestling if I tried.

On the way home I will normally listen to another show on the same station called The Philips Phile. This show is more cerebral the The Monsters and they normally talk about recent events both locally and world wide. However, they do not take themselves too seriously and like to use humor even when making a point. They will talk about anything from politic to porn that seems interesting at the time.

Well I don't listen to anything on the way to work anymore. But I always listened to the breakfast show on BBC Radio 1, which currently is hosted my Chris Moyles (he seems to have been doing it forever and it's now called the Chris Moyles show) and can actually be heard over in the States. On the way home I used to listen to Scott Mills also on BBC Radio 1. I actually still listen to Scott Mills if I go to pick the wife up from work. Just looked it up there have only been 14 presenters, including partnerships, of the breakfast show on Radio 1 since 1967!

The Edge 102.1 CFNY

http://www.edge.ca/

Their morning show is freaking hilarious. They got lesbians on, hypnotist, psychic. It is time dealyed cause they have gotten into so much shit before cause of their content in the past.

Before the current program director, they were a badass station, playing indie alt rock, new rock, etc. But not its turned into a top 40 of alt rock with commercials every freaking second. So many DJ's either quit or got fired cause of this guy.

Their slogan in the past was "Spirit of Radio", but now its nothing more than a corperate money machine. Hardly hear any new artists anymore. So after the morning show, I just turn off the radio.

i was always partial to Q107.1 (wayyyy too much kim mitchell. lol.. might as well go for a soda? aahahah soda.. please.) or UofTs radio station, whatever they call that.
nowadays its either 100.5 the peak here in vancouver.... thepeak.fm... its all newish, borderline indie rock junk mostly... at least it isn't the same old songs released 40 years ago.

Most of the time, I listen to sports radio (English and French). Good thing I like hockey because that's what they talk about 99% of the time. http://www.themagazine.ca/board/style_emoticons/default/hockey.gif

I also listen to the local rock station (CHOM 97.7) quite a bit \m/
