As it is World Book Day tomorrow 3rd March. I thought we could share our kids favourite reads.

Although my 6 y/o is getting into his older/ chapter books, his firm favourite over the years had to be...

The Gruffalo by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler.

Its a superb book which was recently made into this superb animation [yt:kbxitrdx]TO_4Vn0B1Ng[/yt:kbxitrdx]

Ditto on Gruffalo for my kids.

Ben, my eldest who is 7 in April, is really getting into Roald Dahl - we're reading Danny Champion of the World at the moment, which was one of my favourites as a kid.

As part of World Book Day yesterday, the boys dressed up as characters from recently read books.

Harry the Dirty Dog and Robin Hood had a great day at school!

A recent favourite kids book has been 'I Am David'...worth looking out. (Ages 8+)

I am David is a fictional book written by Anne Holm in 1963. It tells the story of a young boy who, with the help of a prison guard, escapes from a concentration camp in Eastern Russia, and journeys to Denmark. Along the way he meets many people who teach him about life outside the camp.
