That is an amazing deal. This game was worth full price IMO, but even if it isn't your fav, it is certaintly worth $20 as long as you like FPS games with a team focus that aren't COD running in a circle or corner camping. Don't get me wrong, I like run and gun games from time to time, but I can only play them for so long before I get bored and go back to Brink these days.

I don't know, with BF3 just around the corner and there's still plenty to platinum in BC2, I can't see myself getting this game only to have to learn it and then stop playing when BF3 is out. :(

Brink is on sale for 16.99 here http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?field-keywords=Brink&url=search-alias%3Daps&x=0&y=0

I must have missed the boat on this game, because as far as i can tell, the reviews have been atrocious. So I was quite surprised to find a dedicated sub forum for this game. Can someone give me a brief reason why it is worth the purchase price in Multiplayer? the reviews (at least the one's I've read) don't really hype it up...

To be honest, when the game first came out, hooking up with multiple players resulted in frustrating lag most of the time. The AI, while having godlike reflexes when playing on the other team, would have trouble tying their own shoe on your side of the battlefield.

However, the game has been patched to the point where multiplayer games run very smoothly for the most part and the friendly AI plays more like real players. I used to have to change classes back in forth to complete objectives myself but not anymore as AI bots consistently go for the main objective now.

To play this game, you need to use teamwork. Brink doesn't reward you very much for kills, instead focusing on rewarding those players who contribute to the overall objective at hand. Definitely NOT for the lone wolves out there.

...and worth every penny. This game could have been better but the patch helped the AI and matches run fairly smooth now as Jackie pointed out. All in all though it's a great team based and objective focused shooter.
