After a arming a few mcoms with Johnny 5 I see how he can become very helpful when attacking. Once we can all get together in a team have everyone get into position, send in J5 to arm and slaughter everyone coming to disarm. You can also use J5 as a recon bot to see if the area your team is about to enter is safe.

Metro he can escort a squad down the center of the map in the subway by taking op4 fire while the rest of the squad takes out the op4. J5 can be damaged like other vehicles and can be repaired too.

I noticed people already using this tactic. Needless to say, when I didn't see any bodies around I looked for the unobvious and there he was J5 just sitting in a corner, easy target.

I have yet to unlock so I don't know the capabilities of the little robot but I'd say the keen eyed player will spot the little sucker and put a few rounds into it.

first time i saw one i was right next to the final mcom and there he goes across the street and i'm just looking at it dumbfounded, lol. but now i always look for them and knifing them for some easy points.

Is the knife best for these then? I've used a frag after finding they take quite a few rounds to put down.

Yes, the bot will cause damage and kill. I've got at least 30 kills with the bot and 5 of those were road kills. There is a video I posted in the video section under funnies called Viking Robot. Once I saw this video I started driving around like this guy. It's a lot of fun once you learn how to drive it.

Agreed. It is insane to control, I constantly oversteer, I screwed around with it for a round after unlocking it and basically accomplished nothing at all except getting folks to stop and stare at it bumping into everything.

It is most vulnerable to primary weapon fire.

To drive it get used to using both triggers. It's kind of like accelerate to a point and hit the Left Trigger to brake. Turn and repeat. It isn't' smooth sailing but you can navigate tight corners if you come to a complete stop and turn.

On one of the maps there is an Mcom next to a dumpster. I put out J5 and hid in the dumpster. that way if I couldn't kill the OP4 with him I could pop out and get em. Plus I could repair if needed.

Yeah, I tried it once and couldn't get it to go anywhere. I'll def need to practice a bit before I'll get much use out of it, but I can see how it could be a game changer if used correctly/effectively.

I don't know if this is a glitch, but every time I went to disable an enemy tank, I ended up driving through the vehicle and disabling it from the inside. Then as it was sitting there on fire I strolled on and armed the mcom. It's also fun to track down snipers and everyone else hanging back. Just roll up and do some probing.
