I wanted to start this thread because I haven't been playing these types of games for very long. Or let's say it's been a very long time since I've had days at a time to play this type of game!! (Ahh kids) And I think we could all profit from a little knowledge/experience sharing on builds.

I have this build because i have a very hard time with recoil and this gun seems to have a decent recoil, especially with kick. Sleight of hand gives me an advantage when I run out of bullets. Hardline pro gives me faster recon info and I just love the IMS.

My main build is as follows.

Primary : SCAR-L Assault Rifle
Attachment: ACOG Scope
Proficiency: Kick

Secondary: MP9

Lethal: Semtex
Tactical: Concussion

Perk 1: Sleight of Hand
Perk 2: Hardline
Perk 3: Marksman

Assault:
ks1: UAV
ks2: Care Package
ks3: IMS

Deathstreak: Juiced

My profile is only at level 25, but I intend to work on this one until I prestige. I would like to know what your common builds are and why?

Classes before level 50 for close quarters combat cqb
Primary pp90 or p90
Secondary m9 akimbo
Bouncing Betty
Concussion
Sleight of hand
assassin
and the one where I move faster when ads
for bigger maps I use the g36
but I'd rather a smg because of the reduced.recoil

After level 50 the assault rifle across 6.8 is amazing no recoil and kills in 3 shots

P90 is amazing, but you gotta be 38+. I picked it up a few times because I was amazed at how fast and easy I was killed. Normal bullet avoiding tactics just don't seem to work against this gun!

Secondary m9 akimbo

I've been reading a bit about akimbo and some say its overpowered? I see quite a few people using it as well...

I got really good with the M-4. I put the RDS on because the iron sight sucks, imo The silencer was a great addition to help keep me off the minimap. But since then, I've been using the Type 95 burst fire. That gun is one powerful muther! The Marksman Perk has really helped out a lot...I can survey the entire battlefield and red names you would normally not see, pop up. I've gotten plenty of cross-the-map hit detections just shooting red names! It's very helpful in countering prone snipers in windows. I'm now looking forward to the Mk-14 and Ak-47.

My main, go-to profile for my AR class:

Type 95
Fn9 Akimbo

Blind Eye
Hardline
Marksman

UAV
IMS
Chopper

For my SMG class:

PP90M1
Javeline

Scavenger
Hardline
Stalker

My rushing/hipfire class:

P90 (2 Attachments, Rapid Fire and Extended Mags) - HUGE mags, HUGE rate of fire - you can easily take out multiple enemies if they keep popping out after you make a kill, without needing to reload.
Skorpion

Sleight of Hand
Quickdraw
Steady Aim

Specialist strike package - I'm still trying to decide the best order to put Scavenger, Assassin and Blast Shield in.

Assassin on 2 kills makes you radar invisible and enemy cursors won't highlight you if you've unlocked the Pro version, making it much easier to get to 4 kills.
Scavenger on 4 kills and you effectively have infinite ammo.
Blast Shield on 6 kills means a lone grenade isn't going to end your streak, and reduces tactical grenade effectiveness on you by 50% if you've unlocked the Pro version.
8 kills and you get all the perks and weapon proficiencies - congratulations, you are now a killing machine.

either p90 or ump
2 perks, red dot and ext mags

sleight of hand
hardline
steady aim

assault package
UAV
sentry gun
attack chopper

death streak
I know...final stand, in final stand you use your primary and can still throw lethal and tactical nades??? And you just get back up after a short time

I've only used the specialist package a couple times, might have to switch it up on a few classes...Is the MOAB only available using the specialist package? It does make the screen look strange for the rest of the map, but definately a WINNER

Not liking any of my settings since the patch..........running p90 all the time now and getting really in consistent results, I'm afraid to try any other weapon at the moment so I can prestige and force myself to start from scratch, as the current set up isn't working for crap at the moment, just getting beat by everyone and everything

curious to know what insins settings are, I remember in reflex you had it set to insane so I tried your settings and got sick almost trying to play only one game :p Just couldn't keep up with the movement with that setting, I'm about to try and up another notch as I'm using ???????? forgot what I'm using

I've used the Professional preset ever since Reflex, Insane is just too dizzying and jittery; the only change I make is increasing the bounding box for ADS very slightly (three clicks up from zero in MW3) so I have slightly more wiggle room for small aiming adjustments.

Insin, I run mine on Pro too. Can you advise of all adjustments you make? I see the ADS adjustment. What else?
