I wanted to savour this, so I managed to stretch it right out and enjoy every aspect of this piece of gaming gold.
Finally finished it last night, and considering trying the DLC before I get stuck into FC4.
    This game still amazes me.

Wanna have a laugh? I only played this for the first time a few days ago. I finally get what the hype for part 2 is all about. Gaming gold you say. Well I see your gold and raise you platinum. - not that I'll get THAT but you should get what I'm saying.

I've always said I'm slow to the party, here's the proof.

Dude this is my all time favorite game. I've replayed it several times, which is rare for me.. it's that good. If you haven't try the DLC, it's worth your time and adds to the story.

I can totally see why, great game.

Gadnos316: I am right there with you; rarely will I make a return trip into a game just for the sake of it. If I get sucked into a game, I will literally try to find every little easter egg and try for 100% completion. Once the feeling of completion creeps in, that's it I'm done with the game. Just had that feeling with Ghost Recon Wildlands. Now The Last of Us is on a completely different dimension in terms of everything, and am hyped about TLoU 2.

I've that completion-ist bug now... but I'm not even sure it's possible this late along with all of the online stuff - will have to see

Do you need full blown multiplayer or can it be done in private matches with two players?

That would be above my pay grade buddy - we'd need some old timers to comment on that

For me, Last of Us was always a single player experience, never bothered with the multiplayer, but did 3 playthroughs - which is a first for me. DLC is definitely worth it. Never been a completionist on this kind of games - I focus on immersion in the story, so treasure/trophy hunting kind of ruins it for me.

I never bother with trophy hunting when I start a game, and with the exception of running the uncharted series on hard I always play on default difficulty as I want to enjoy the experience and the emersion, but generally after completing I go back in for collectibles and if realistic, 100% completion - I am far from being a completionist - way too few 100 percenters under my belt

but I get a little OCD about knowing there's more to be had and not getting it - shit we all have our issues - this is one of mine
