Last night was a good one, with casual wins lining up. Poor insanity got roped directly into a ranked match - no warmup, but he took the surprise well, and we ended up winning with a good margin. Gotta love that. Wrong server, tho. But still
I got some early games in with ND before you guys jumped on, then wanted to keep 'a breast' with GoT so watched that and a film instead!
But you're right, a great weekend of gaming with MPeeps.

Thanks to the crowd across the pond for the few games this afternoon. I was fortunate to have the afternoon free and no kid even though I didn't have a whole lot of time. I must say I'm extremely rusty. My aim has never been good, but I guess I need more practice with positioning, improving my map knowledge, etc. Hope to get more games in with MPs.... if you can bear with my neurotic gameplay

Great games, no doubt! And great playing with you, too - hopefully not too long till next time :) We were on a winning streak last night, so your aim couldn't have been so bad ;)
Thanks to all I played with last night - Gadnos, Major Stains, Danny(Sgt BadAim), Rossoneri, tthfry. Good to see so many MPs on Siege at the moment. Full squad makes for great entertainment and more frequent success :)

Really hoping not so long till next time. I'm becoming addicted to the game again, though afternoons here are difficult to get on with the EU/UK crowd. My wife and kid will be away in a few weeks, so it'll be game on that weekend :-)

Got on last night with bibuman and his friend and had a blast. I'm finding that because I play conservatively I was often the last man standing (does wonders for the in game anxiety). Got the clutch win on plane having a peeking stand off with Doc, but then screwed up later with everyone watching on a one v one trying to diffuse a bomb... even knowing where the guy was just not fast enough on the trigger. My reaction time gets me killed quite a bit it seems

Been there. There's even a meme for it, but couldn't find it so this'll have to do.

Playing conservatively is smart though (How would you know? shouts the crowd) even if it strains your nerves to know your dead teammates are scrutinizing your every move, and maybe even kick voting you in the midst of your peril. This game favors icy heads, patience against the clock and efficient use of every second on that timer. Which is why it's so hard to be good at it imo.
I never - well, almost never - go for a kill if the smarter choice is to hold an angle till the enemy peeks you. Kills are fun, but wins are better. Kills without wins can feel pretty pointless, but wins without kills can feel awesome. Like when you yank the hostage out from under their nose :)

lol GRRowl that's exactly how I feel when it's down to me. I agree with you, I'd rather go for the win so I could care less if I get kills as long as I'm helping the team. Patience helps so much... but of course every now and then you break down and go Rambo just because...

Still got it 🤠 Too bad my random greek friends didn't all share their voice, you guys really miss out on the wall of sound they were able to put up between me and the gameplay sound - just endless. But they were alright. Ended up playing three ranked with them, won two, lost the last sadly. Fun though.

Thanks to DJ for joining me for a few matches today - I think we were both pretty tired, but DJ did alright still. Me on the other hand seemed to be wearing a big Acme magnet on my head attracting all the bullets.

Great games last night on the XB1 with Retro, Teach, and Landshark! We were dominant up until we moved our show to ranked...then our random sucked it up every game (destroying castles, opening miras, etc).

Best moment ever tonight. Comes down to one player from the other team and Landshark. LS plants a clay-more on one door, takes cover waiting for them to rush in with time running out, they do, he jumps up and guns them down but they aren't dead. He moves in for the traditional tea-bag before putting one between the eye's.

Except while busy giving him the business, the other guy crawls across a few feet into the path of the clay-more .....killing both and ending the match in a draw.
