    R6: Siege War Stories

Ups and downs are crazy in this game. Went on ranked with randoms and climbed up to silver again - won a match or two riding on the back of other players. But of course, I couldn't leave well enough alone, so now I'm back in bronze. Also riding on the back of some randoms, including 3 who left me and another guy 2 v 4 for 4 rounds - we held them up till 3-5, but defense broke us. Had a couple successful hostage snatches - can't beat that feeling, especially when that ominous voice goes "down to one friendly" as you're hightailing it out the window with the hostage stumbling along.

Also, I had the misfortune to step through the map on Chalet, just outside the garage. I was backing up a bit, aiming at the recently upblown door, when I accidentally stepped off the edge of an endless abyss. Well, not quite endless, it turned out, after 5-6 seconds of falling watching the world grow smaller above my head - I seemed to die from something, possibly the molten metal of the Earth's core. Totally my fault, of course - clearly stated by Ubisoft in big letters "You killed yourself!"

    Yeah, thanks for that.

Didn't they say they'd fixed that? I remember something like that popping up in the 2.2.2 Release Notes. I may be wrong, though.

They may have said that. In which case - they'd be wrong.

I love it. Did he have his mic back by then? Did anyone capture this golden moment??

Classic 3v3 Brawl on the X1 last night. Much hilarity ensued.
But 2:30 am! Seriously, you guys need to sort you clocks out. These early starts are doing me in...

Would love to get you guys into BF4 this weekend, but screw that. R6 is so damn fun at the moment on both consoles.

    R6: Siege War Stories

Thanks to Danny and DeadChaos for good games last night.

Got so caught up in this game I even started a second account to see what I can do without my noob stats from the first few months (ahem - year) haunting me. So far it's been fun, only the second day and I already got an ace. Danny BadAim can verify, he was present. Sadly my settings weren't adjusted so we can't hear him.

Got it with Jäger of all people. I never play the man - he's always taken by some spawn peeking Jäger/Ash main with a rushing addiction, usually getting killed right off the bat. But I nailed it on the first go, yay me! Major Stains, as you will observe, I too have a cool head, steady hand and perfect aim for that last clutch kill.

You guys have to start thinking about what to get for my big 10 Ace Celebration. A bucket of cold water might be a good idea, cos I'm on fire!
