    Organize friends

Possibly this has been discussed before, but I'm hoping someone can give me a tip about the best ways to organize a growing friends list. With all these great new MP teammates coming in, I feel the need to sort a bit. I have a few online encounter friends, my teenager uses my psn and has a few of his friends plus a few cod friends as well. So I'm looking for a way to organize friends into "folders" or groups for my own benefit, not as invited members of a chat group or party, which seems to be the only option right now. Any input is appreciated, thanks.

I don't think there is any straight forward method to clean up your list.

A true MP purist would just have the people that frequent the site and delete everyone else ;) But that would leave you with 4 friends...lol

My first tip would be to get your kids their own PS ID. That removes them and their friends off your list for starters. (If they require access to older games you need to add a fake DOB to their PSN account and their EA account.)

As for the rest of the mess, there is no solution.
And it's made even trickier with all the friends of MP can sneak into communities etc and say they are MP.

    Organize friends

Yeah, that's what I was afraid of. The "only MPs" strategy has an appeal, and would leave me with a whole lot more than 4 friends, thankfully. I have plans to kick my son off my PSN account soon, just waiting for Fifa 17 (he's pretty invested in Ultimate team) Meanwhile the arrangement makes it look like I'm awesome at Fifa (I barely survive on semipro) and kick butt in Black Ops III (don't play it at all). So, there's that. As one of my random R6S friends put it, after seeing my son playing, thinking it was me: "You play Cod? Why?!"

Sony def have some improvement potential in this friends mess. All I really need is the same setup already available for making groups and adding friends - only without inviting everyone into a chat party in the process.

More importantly, I need to save dough to buy a new ps4, and possibly a new tv for gaming. This console ain't big enough for the both of us.

Have though about it, yes. Very much a possibility. But then I'd have to but a 4K TV too, right? Or maybe spring for the PS VR, or maybe both. Just have to win the lottery first ;)
