Native streaming coming to Xbox One & Windows 10

Windows 10's next update the "Creators Update" will introduce native live-streaming features to PC and Xbox One gaming.

Microsoft announced the new capability this morning at a keynote event. The feature appears to make use of Beam, the live-streaming service it acquired back in August, and integrates with the Windows Game Bar.
Streaming begins by touching a panel inside an Xbox application; networked friends will be notified of the new stream and invited to view it.

During a broadcast, a chat interface that hovers over a broadcast of a game in Windows 10 or Xbox Live will scroll up dialogue from viewers suggesting what the broadcaster should do or try in the game.
The update also allows the means to create custom tournaments for Xbox One/Windows 10 games, with user-specific challenges attached.

These tournaments will work across both the Xbox One and Windows PC.

The Windows 10 "Creators Update" will launch this spring for free for all Windows 10 devices.
