I was hanging back to give someone else a chance to answer, but to hell with it... I have my own business.

For those interested in starting up on their own the key is to find something that gives you the freedom to do other things in life that make you happier. Thats where I went wrong! lol.
Do the groundwork. Research your chosen field and research some more.
Ask advice from friends and family that have gone self employed.
Get business advice from your bank, start-ups can still be found. Find an investor if possible.
Yes, you get to be your own boss. But to be successful takes hard work and long hours.
Remember that expanding your business may not make more money, just more work.
    You get less holiday.
    You get no sick pay.
You will struggle to borrow money for a house etc if your cashflow is up and down.
You are the end of the line, the buck stops at you.

With all that said and done, it can be a hugely rewarding experience.
If it all goes to the wall, nobody can ever tell you that you never tried. You gave it a go.
And chances are you will come out with a whole new set of lifeskills.

To quote one more enlightened than myself...

Sorry. I think I may be wittering a bit!

So I guess that brings me back to...

    Never have I ever...

Written or performed a song/ book/ film/ play that has shown to the public in any form
    (evidence would be ideal)

    OK, here I go.
I used to be a devout Christian, I used to go to the baptist church every Sunday, and for a while a I was the leader of the drama team. I even took acting classes for a while, because we were trying to do better than your average church play. We did manage to make some decent work, but I just found out I don't have most of the pictures/videos. It was probably lost on a PC change. I wish I could show pictures of the time I played a detective in a Noir style play. In the story, I was hired to "investigate" what would be the perfect Christmas present for the client's husband, and it led to a series of funny situations. It had the coolest costumes.
But all I have to show is the time we played an adaptation of Jonah and the whale for the kids at the church. It is a biblical story, but we took some liberty and included talking trees, a fat guy dressed as a whale, little red riding hood that just happened to enter the wrong story... the kids had a blast.
I was Jonah (first picture, on the left of course).

Never have I ever gone skydiving.

I was hoping Dadafett would pipe up so I could hear some of his tales of daring do in the forces.

But I will bore you all about this one time that I was at bandcamp...

Kidding, I did it on the year I was 40.
In mid June, 2014 I helped break the World Record for the most tandem jumps completed during one day, even got me a certificate to show off. The record has since been broken but nobody is taking away that certificate.
We jumped from 15,000 feet (3 miles) and it was the most incredible experience of my life (after the birth of my sons and my wedding day, "Yes, dear. I have mentioned our wedding day".)
I just wished I had tried it sooner and I wish I will try it again. It would be very easy to get hooked on that buzz.

    Never have I ever...

    ... been in an earthquake
