    Host Migration in progress

So my buddy keeps getting bumped off the server/game playing Wildlands - but not Xbox live. The message he gets while still 'in the game' is "Host migration in Progress". Has to rejoin everytime, like 4-7 times a night (gaming session).

Is this his internet speed/connection or something greater than all us? :) Anyone experience this headache?

    Thanks.

I've only ever had host migration maybe twice, never been an issue though or an annoyance even

Does he know what his internet speed / connection is like? Try www.speedtest.net
Does he have the same problem in other games?

He should make sure he has an open NAT. Speed shouldn't matter too much unless he's on 90's dial-up.

Check Xbox support and make sure he had all the suggested ports open on his router.
