If it looks like it is worth it, then yes. I know we do not need it to have access to online gaming which will remain free, but apparently it will get you access to beta testing on the PS3 as well as some free downloadable games. I will have to see what they offer first. I may get it if it will get me access to the Killzone 3 and Twisted Metal betas, or any other PS3 exclusive betas for games I am looking at getting down the line.

I was considering it but I really hate the way they throw around the word 'selected'. Have one hour trial access to 'selected' games. Playable betas on 'selected' games. It's a bonus that you get QORE free but I'm already subscribed to that. I think I'll wait to see what PS Plus TRULY has to offer and what others who do subscribe think about it.

I agree...need to see what it offers. "selected demos" doesn't exactly have me pulling out my credit card. ;)

hmm.... I don't know. I really want to see the side-by-side comparison to Xbox Live to get an idea of how much value it really is. If it is similar to Live than it should be a great value because I have not heard one person bitch about Live, but I still like the FREE version of PSN quite a bit.

If basic free service is enough to play online I don't think PS plus will appeal to me. Anyway theres's so many great games available to keep me busy for years!

They keep saying you get £200 worth of value for a £39 subscription (approx. $300 for $60) but everything seems selective... also 1 hour of demo time... come on that is rubbish; it should be longer than that - it normally takes me longer than that to figure out the controls ;)

I don't have LBP and you get that as part of the subs in EU, but then I'm sure I could get that cheap off eBay or something.

And the games you get as part of the subs have to be downloaded in the month they are released... and can only be used whilst you've got a live subs.

Good on them for not making it compulsory if you want online gaming though!

The only person that I know that took the plunge is Seek_and_Strike. You can tell he subscribed, because there is a PSN+ logo next to his screen name on the XMB friends list.

    Re: Playstation Plus

Now is a great time to try Plus... I did the 3-monther just in time for the holidays to see if I would like it. Available today is BETA access to to the MMORPG, DC Universe Online. Plus there are some other free games, like Crash Team Racing for example, that look worthwhile for the kids (or adults). Easy to get $17.99 worth of value right now.

Anyways, just thought I would pass this along to you guys. Peace.
