    I have to download PES 2012. I tried the Fifa game yesterday and I wasn't too impressed, unfortunately. The movement seemed 'heavy'. The players looked good and all, but it just seemed a bit off. I'll download PES 2012 demo today. Does that include national teams as well?

    the demo just has a few teams but the full game has all international
    the only problem is they dont have all the licences of the major leagues
    this year they are intruducing a few new game modes being a manager and also being a owner of a club wich i think it will give it a bit more depth

    Well I'm too biased to comment on PES, so I won't.

    I've posted a note on EA's forums inviting people to join us.

    Re: FIFA 12 ONLINE FRANCHISE

    Okay, I've been playing both for a while.

    FIFA '12: After giving it some more time, I've realized that the speed wasn't sluggish, I kept pressing a button that made my player slow down. D'Oh. After I figured that out I really enjoyed the game. The faces don't look as good on here as they do on PES '12, but I think the action flowed pretty well.

    PES '12: I like how the defense would stay near the offense and the lanes that they would open by dragging defenders with them as they crossed the field. I didn't notice a great difference in the action, minor things here and there (ball control, but not the most necessary thing for me).

    Both games were great, so in the end it may come to just overall graphics and playability. Right now, I'm siding with Fifa '12. I just like the collision engine and the animation a little bit more. I think the fluidity is a bit nicer on the PES game, but it's a small sacrifice for me to make over the genuiness of the game. I haven't played a FIFA title in over 6 years and I've never played PES, so these demos were an eye opener as to how good these game have gotten.

    @Tonka: YOU GOT AN XBOX???!!!!

    One of my favorite bands, Battles, was used for a FIFA 12 ad! :-bd
