You are right, most major protests have some kind of violence in them. Up here in Germany most protests are rather peaceful though. Burning cars and barricades are not the usual way. Flying bricks and the like are more common. What I meant by "peaceful" in this context was, that nobody was doing anything like that when the first report I posted started. It's always some idiot autonomous protester throwing something that starts shit like this.

Then again reports say that a lot of riot tourists have been there just to start violence and so on.

Weirdly associated with the previous post, I was paddle boarding for the first time on my holiday with my 13yo son who did it before with Scouts. We ended up heading out further than I realised because it was fun... until I looked down and saw hundreds of big, fucking jellyfish (each easily the size of my chest not including their tentacles)! Whilst I didn't parp my pants, my legs did turn to jelly.

    We went in pretty fast.

Anyhoo onto the latest bit of news.

I've heard that having shits and giggles makes for a better first date, but this is taking it a bit far!

Woman trapped in window trying to retrieve poo after Tinder date

It did not land in the garden, but became wedged between two non-opening windows.

After climbing in head first after it, she became wedged.

Mr Smith had to call the fire service for help.
There are photos, I shit you not...

    Holy shit.......

That's some good sized jellyfish. It's quite scary when you unexpectedly see them in the water. I remember back in the day when we did some body surfing and would then notice 100's of bluebottles around you and two of them wrapped around your leg!

My brother was telling me about the poop story, sounds like my kinda gal.

We get some big jellyfish down here but they really spoil any attempts at mackerel fishing. I remember bluebottles from Oz, boy did they give a nasty sting!

Just read about that unfortunate date (you'd think it was yanked out of a Hollywood comedy script) in Norwegian newspapers. They left out that she was a gymnast, although it may be obvious from the pictures. Been curious about dating gymnasts, but this is definitely not what I had in mind.

All sounded a bit staged. The guy went on to crowdfund the window repair. Knowing people from Bristol they may just be after the attention. Or just high. ;)

A woman is in a critical condition after the Audi she was traveling in veered off the road, became airborne and slammed into a sign post, emergency services have said.

The incident took place in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The woman was found lying behind the wreck of the vehicle. She was taken to Charlotte Maxeke Hospital.

"Paramedics treated the woman and immediately initiated advanced life support interventions, in an effort to stabilize her vital signs," said ER24's Russel Meiring.
